Located at the heart of Rockhal, Rocklab is a resource center and creative hub dedicated to supporting artists, musicians, bands and (aspiring) music professionals in Luxembourg. Designed to foster artistic growth and creativity, Rocklab provides equipped rehearsal and production rooms, live performance preparation spaces, and co-working areas to encourage collaboration and artistic exchange.

Rocklab also offers regular panels, workshops and networking events about music industry topics, alongside informational resources and professional development programs tailored to the needs of emerging and established artists alike.

Four key pillars - #Create (infrastructure), #Grow (artist support), #Play (live music events), and #Discover (young audience program) - structure initiatives that ensure artists, music makers and bands, regardless of experience, receive the support and promotion they need to thrive and develop their ideas and music projects.

Supporting Artistic Growth: Fostering Creativity from the Start

Since its launch in 2006, Rocklab has played a pivotal role in strengthening Luxembourg’s music ecosystem and promoting the local music scene. By providing comprehensive infrastructure and guidance, educational events, various support programs and songwriting camps, Rocklab enables artists to create, rehearse, perform and develop their music projects in a space conducive to artistic expression. Rocklab also runs dedicated projects for kids and teens, nurturing the next generation of talent and fostering creativity from an early age.

A Platform for Live Music and Innovation

In addition to the artist support programs, Rocklab promotes local talent through concerts, showcases (Rocklab Live Sessions), video sessions (Rocklab Pop-up Sessions), and music contests, providing artists with valuable opportunities to connect with audiences and industry professionals.

Rocklab is also committed to music discovery and promoting musical practice among young people, organizing initiatives that empower youth and encourage creativity with events like Screaming Fields Festival that give emerging artists the chance to create, perform music and benefit from professional support and mentorship in areas such as songwriting and stage performance.

A Thriving Community

With over 1000 members (as of February 2025), Rocklab wants to foster a dynamic community where musicians exchange ideas, collaborate, and gain industry insights.
